Middle School science booth draws a crowd

Monday, 29 May, 2017

The Middle School Science booth at Family Day 2017 was a terrific success, once again.  It is always wonderful to see how St. John’s International School students volunteer their time, knowledge, and enthusiasm so generously.  It is also amazing to witness how naturally and capably they engage the visitors, from the youngest Timbertops children to parents and grandparents, in dialogue about Science concepts and phenomena.  Their skill at demonstrating phenomena of all sorts is very impressive, too.

A big thanks goes out to all the students who staffed the MS Science booth:  Almudena, Adrien, Isabella, Morgan, Alice, Harshini, Patrick, Tamas, Lorian, and Gergely.  An additional big thanks goes out to Morgan and Alice, who set up the booth in the morning and to Almudena, Patrick, and Mrs. Szendro, who brought all the materials safely back to the science lab after Family Day.  Thanks to all for a terrific day!
