High School

Santa LuciaThe performing arts play an important role in the lives of our St. John’s students. Opportunities for creative expression exist at all levels, for all ages throughout the school. We seek to instill a genuine appreciation for varied aesthetic endeavors. This appreciation, in turn, manifests itself in the student’s self discovery of his or her own creative talents. The school’s membership and participation in the International Schools Theatre Association (ISTA) provides a unique outlet through which students are able to further their acting, directing and technical skills under professional guidance. At St. John’s, we recognize that creative exploration can only further the student’s confidence, initiative, imagination, discipline, teamwork, knowledge and ultimately personal satisfaction.
